Comfort food? Emotional eating? Check here first!

Hi, I'm Christiana!
(HI CHRISTIANA)
I am a foodie:
A big time comfort food/stress eater/emotional overeater Anon!
I always turn to food. I pretty much think about food and plan and consume most of my day around meals or snacks. In the morning, I tend to exercise or shower first but my reward is breakfast or coffee or tea. Lunch is a break from work, so I usually bring lunch or see if the cafeteria has anything vegan. I watch my show, I read, or I go on a walk. Then I get hungry or snacky or munchy between 3-5p. I try to remember a protein and a fruit or starchy veg, but sometimes I reach for chips or crackers, which are processed and addicting (with added sugar or sodium, these aren't good for me so I try to limit. The salty/sweet combo I crave!)
Dinner is usually a healthy (I try to go lighter and not reach for seconds) protein, vegetables and/or salad, and maybe a carb/starch. I then tend to want something sweet, so I've found herbal tea is like a finishing touch, it helps my sweet craving at 0 calories!
I'm still researching, but what are some healthy foods that actually help your stress or calm you? Oatmeal, dark chocolate, orange juice, asparagus, pistachios are what I found actually help lower stress, from this article here. I love nuts, apples, oranges, avocado toast, popcorn, Peanut butter toast, celery, and carrots (they help the crunchy craving).
What about you?
