My Story

 

I'm the third of eight children, a pastor's daughter, and granddaughter of missionaries.  I was born in MS., raised in Orange County CA, high school in S.C., college in Nashville, interned at Nashville Children's Theatre, lost 5 years of my life to depression, went through a divorce, lost 40 lbs, taught in Africa, moved back to so Cal, survived assault, laid off twice, and landed my dream job at a local hospital. 

 

I met my husband swing dancing here in the northeast part of Los Angeles, and have never looked back!  

 

Secretary. Plant based. Dog Lover. Persistent Dreamer.  Trump Resister.  Instagram addict and influencer.  Fitness enthusiast and gym rat.  Also happen to be in the middle of TTC/infertility.  I love hiking, nature (beach and mountains AND desert all in one state!) and the diversity here in CA.  I love Jesus, and love discussing religion, church history, and anything related to your spiritual journey if you want to share.  I am a firm believer in Equality, fighter for underdogs, underprivileged and marginalized.
